One question. On Monday I received from NYU a reply to my email where I requested an update on the status of my application.

They informed me that a decision was taken on my file and that I would have received a letter shortly.

I waited three days but, as of today, I have not received anything.

Today I phoned NYU and the assistant confirmed me the letter was sent but she was not able to tell me when it was sent.

I have tried to login to the "welcome to admitted students" space on NYU website using my application number and my birth date but it says "sorry no userid found".

Do you think this means that the letter I am going to receive concern my application rejection???

I applied and my appl'n went complete about 2 wks ago. I still haven't received a reply. I am a domestic trained atty. We'll see.

hey all.. i received a reply this morn... by Air Mail not UPS.. n it was a reject:(
so thats that! The e-mail is two way and doesnt necessarily mean you are admitted. Best of luck to all.

I got the email saying a decision has been made on your file etc etc... sometime last week, and today I got my Air Mailed Rejection Letter. Ah well!

Sorry for the ppl getting rejected but it is not the end of the world and surely u will get admission somewhere else...........good luck for all

I applied for the part time program and have not yet received any response from NYU. A friend of mine told me that responses to part time applicants can be delayed until August, do any of you have additional information regarding this?

Yesterday, I got waitlisted for the General Studies program. Is anyone in the same situation? I wish someone would know how many people are on the list... I am considering whether I should stay on the list or withdraw my application, because thay said their final decision will be made "before the end of May," and I may not have enough time to get my visa until summer.

Does anyone know whether NYU entertains requests for deferring admission by one year?

I have been waitlisted for International Taxation LLM.
I receive the UPS pack three days ago and I have to accept before 1st May.

Do you think we still have chances to receive a scholarship?

I got the regular mail today. The letter was dated March 10 - and that kind of irrated me even more...

i am an international student. I applied to NYU on time and received the "application complete" email on December 15. To date i received nothing from NYU. i addressed them once and got their usual email saying that they are currently reviewing the application and they will inform me when they have an answer.
is someone in the same situation? does anyone know if they alreday sent all the admission letters?
