Does anyone know if NYU has already begun to send offers?

I haven't received any information from NYU other then a "application complete" e-mail.

Yeah me too... what do you guys think my chances are of getting into NYU if I wasnt accepted into GULC?

Indeed, I am Mexican.

I bealive I found out early about admission to NYU since I applaied to both locations NYC and NUS. In order to help students make up their mind by sep 28 (deadline to accept offer at the NUS location), they inform candidates about admission at both locations

As posted earlier My decicion at GULC was postponed untill march1

No word on UPENN or HLS.

NYU asked for my fall grades last week. Dont know if that is good or bad. I graduated #2 in my class from a tier 4.

If you dont know what "fall grades" are the NYU is not going to ask for them

If u where asked to produce your fall grades, then do so. NYU PROBABLY WANTS YOUR LAST GRADES. so if u don´t know what does are in ur case, send your most recent transcript.

I already sent my transcript of both the undergraduate and the graduate through LSAC.
So, NYU has not yet requested my fall grades.
People who were asked their fall grades by NYU were in different situation with me???

I can only find one other post of someone that was asked for fall grades. That person also went to a lower ranked school in the US, applied to the tax program, graduated from JD in Dec., and was ranked in the top 1% of his/her graduating class. These are also my stats.

NYU will request the material they need to asess your credentials, they always request your undergrad and grad complete transcripts. If you already did so, your application shoud be complete and only if they need you to produce further material inorder to undersstand your credentials and asess your abilities, will they requiere other grades or certifications.

First of all Im Mexican just turned 22 years old, graduated as an attorney fom a jesuit university in december. (Bachelor in Law)

2 in my class of 59
My final grade averag was 9.8 out of 100
received hors (not in time to tell NYU)

I have a copule years of part time work experience during law school.

President of the student asociation of my law school and appointed as member of the university`s board (student representative) in my last semester.

Coulpe yeares in a legal society (St. Thomas Moore.)

Captain of my universities debate team (second in national tournament.)

Hope it helps you, I dont know what was most valued by any of the universities, so I just told tou pretty much everything.

I just received a "complete" status of my application, yesterday, February 11, 2009. I hope to hear whether I am accepted or rejected as soon as possible.
