Congradulations, LLMCAz!!!!
I knew you would make it!! As for me, I'm still trying to decide between LLM/Kellogg and UPenn/Wharton B&L Program.
(I was admitted to Penn Law but my admission to Wharton Program is pending. They are suppose to select a few from those who are admitted to Penn Law)

I also have not received their decision. Now, just waiting and waiting. My application was completed on Jan 23 and I got an interview around the end of Jan. While my colleague who applied and got an interview in the same time with me, got the decision on Feb 1, 2009. She is now on the waiting list of LL.M./Kellog.

Thank you for your kind post!
Btw, sorry for taking me to long to get back to you, I am still trying to find more info about the LLM/K. What everybody tells me here is that the program is amazing, very competitive and better than Wharton because you attend classes with the MBAs from the executive program. Concerning employment rates, nobody knows much... I'll keep trying to get this info to you.
Warathorn,
Hang on there, I was in your shoes few hours ago and I am sure you'll get in.
Good luck!

Hi.. I had my interview for LLMK in Jan. ... However it is the only law school provides employment data... And thats why i consider LLMK program at par with Harvard... But it is the most expensive program... you may get this on

You're right, NU provides this info on the website. However, we were talking about data exclusively concerning the LLM/K (and updated).
BCool, I suggest you to ask the admissions, they are very nice and certainly have the kind of information that will support your decision.

I just received an offer from Northwestern/Kellogg, and am pretty excited about it. The reputation of this program seems excellent.
But I have to admit that the $ 62.000 tuition is a big downfall for me... I have until March 20th to decide, with Columbia and NYU's decisions still to come...
Anyways, good luck to all of you still waiting!

Hi guys - Congrats to those that have had some options at hand and best luck to those still waiting..
i was just admitted to the LLMK program. While feeling the excitement, i start to become really concerned about the high tuition associated with it.. i may wish to be certain if the program is worth of the investment before i have to make up my mind to take or leave it by March.. i have read some of the previous posts but would still like to solicit more of your opinions on the quality and the prospect of the program... anybody with direct or indirect knowledge or informaiton other than those published on NWU website is welcome to shed some lights on this topic..
I do have a few other LLM options vs. this LLMK program. but am also interested in taking some courses on management considering this is likely to be my last opportunity going back on campus.. however, i expect my future career after the school be still focusing on the legal aspect....
Any suggestion will be highly appreciated!

I'm a Korean candidate accepted to LLMK as well and understand your concern. I've had the pleasure to meet one of the program's graduate who jumped to a M&A team at the largest IB in Korea upon completing the LLMK program. I guess your decision will be conditioned upon what kind of career perspective you have. I also got admission from UPenn but my acceptance to the Wharton Business & Law Program is pending. Although many here say that LLMK is a better program compared to the Wharton Program, I'm still weighing the two, provided that I get accepted to the Wharton Program. I hope this helps. BTW, can I ask where you are from?

Hi, I also received an admission offer from Northwestern (KLLM program). However, I am not too sure about its tuition, as it is extremely high - $62,000 !! Do you guys know if there is any opportunity to receive financial aid in this program? Does it worth the high price?

I was also admitted to Uchicago and not too sure which to choose. what do you think about these two schools?

They explicitly state that there are no financial aid for LLMK program. Uchicago??!!! That's awsome!!

Of course this is possible. I was, for example, admitted to Columbia and Chicago but deferred to the regular pool of applicants at Upenn. Did I answer your question adequately?
