I had an online interview last week and the questions weren't as easy as in the preparation. I mean, it's not that you can not answer if you speak good English. Just the questions were not what's your favorite movie, book, season, and similar. They were much longer and a bit more complex.
Still, nothing to worry about but be focused. I was surprised after the first question and took a break for a few minutes and then went on...

I too received a generous scholarship offer from Northwestern. I was wondering how I would approach letting the other schools know?

str8 to the point. "that school is your dream and your first choice. however, you received a more substantial offer from the school X. Is there a chance they would increase?"
I mean, that's how I did it with some lower-ranked schools just to see how things work. And it worked. They increased. (but those are public schools that already awarded me 50% of the tuition and I was asking for more, so the increase is a few thousand. Though their tuition is like 40ish k and not 70) I didn't try that, though, with T14 yet. I think more people need to put their opinions.

I got a measly $15,000 grant. I emailed to let them know that the cost of attendence is still prohibitive despite the award (hence subtly and impliedly asking for more haha) but they just said that due to the small class size, funds are limited. So i gave up my slot. Hope they add the declined grants (including mine) to others who opted in. Good luck everyone!
