No Completion E-mail from CLS Yet- Any Info?

L&E

hi all; Am an applicant from India. My application reched CLS on the 7th of December.

Today is the 18th and I still have not heard from them confirming receipt (or a statement of completion/missing items that would be an implicit receipt as it were).

Does any one have a lowdown on whats up? (:)!).

Should I mail them? ( I am asking this because I am unsure how they will react to it; dont want to piss them).

Please let me know..

From Columbia's website (Frequently Asked Questions):

"I submitted my application by December 15 but have not yet received a confirmation from the Office of Graduate Legal Studies that you have received my application. Did you get my application?

Because of the very large volume of applications that we receive, we cannot send confirmations to everyone immediately. Please do not worry if you have not heard from us yet. We will process the applications as quickly as possible and, in most cases, will send confirmations by late January."
