(I apologize in advance that this is not strictly an LLM question - I cannot find anywhere else online to ask and everyone here is extremely helpful. Please feel free to direct me elsewhere!)
Hello, all! I'm a Canadian lawyer interested in applying for one of the foreign lawyer/international associate/visiting lawyers programs that some NYC firms offer. Does anyone have any information about how difficult it is to secure one of these positions, or what I can include in my application to be more competitive? I have tried to do online research myself but there is very little information out there about the programs, save for what is on the firms' websites. I have sent emails to the contacts only to be told "just send in your resume and transcripts." Obviously I would like to put together a great application package.
Does anyone have any comments or thoughts about the above? Thanks in advance!
