Looking at combined rankings: US NEWS, VAULT, lawschool100:

Stanford: 2+2+1=5
Harvard: 2+6+1=9
NYU: 5+3+4= 12
Yale: 1+10+2=13
CLS: 4+7+4=15

I think this is an accurate picture. Adding the Leiter's rankings, and presuming one does not study IP, I would say Harvard and NYU are a league above everyone else.

Be careful with these rankings as they are based only on the JD program, which means they will not likely reflect the caliber of the LLM program. Some schools have separate LLM and JD programs, so the ranking would be misleading.

Thanks for the pointer. I'ld be grateful for suggestions on how best to weigh the 100's of schools offering llm programs. I'm foreign trained & considering an llm in commercial law (preferably online).
