Hi everyone,

Does anyone know about the financial aid timeline of this year? Do they usually come with the acceptance offer?

Thanks!

I have no idea, sorry. I was accepted yesterday and I asked about the timeline today. Keep you posted!

Here's the response I got from Dora-Maria:

Fellowship decisions will be made in a separate process, after another competitive round of selections among all admitted students who requested financial aid. I expect to have news in that regard around the second half or end of March. (Please note that in principle, all law schools who use LSAC’s services have agreed not to insist on their admitted students’ decisions before April 1. There may be separate stipulations for fellowships perhaps at some institutions, but April 1 is the deadline that we at Michigan adhere to. It seems only fair that students have a chance to find out all their options before making their choices.)

Thanks for letting us know! Indeed, very intelligent of them to respect the April 1st deadline!

Hello everyone, I am currently in Ann Arbor pursuing the LLM. Congratulations to those admitted. Please let me know if there are any questions you have. Also, may I ask those admitted when they sent in their applications?

Including tax LLMs, I think around 35. This is just my educated guess however.

I am waiting as well... I hope you will get the admission offer. Could you please let me know if you receive an email regarding your application?

I was offered it, too. They are really generous. But I haven‘t decided yet because I like Chicago‘s interdisciplinary approach and their offerings on constitutional law.

Yes, checking if they were releasing all decisions around the same time or not. Got into some other great schools without scholarships though and am weighing the options of ranking vs. less debt.
