I got an email from michigan 2 days ago asking me to do soem weekend activity to check on tax and visa regulations etc... and the subject line of the email read as: "admitted students website". However, I havent received any email or post saying I have been accepted. Am i correct in presuming that i have been admitted thouhg a formal confirmation hasn't come through or could that be spam...

I received the same email. There are two possibilities. Either you have been accepted, but the admission offer has not arrived yet, or your name is mistakenly on the list. I received my own admission letter a week ago. You should probably call them.

i have e-mailed them and should get a reply by tonite as past 2 days being weekends.. I am hoping its not a mistake.. a terrible mistake to make if its one...
