Looking for LLM programs

AppleLemon

Hi everyone!

I have just decided that I am going to apply for General LLM programs to USC, UC Davis, Emory and UVA; however, I would love to have 2 more options. I am especially looking for General LLM programs that have specialized Torts courses and Environmental Law ones.

I will be so grateful if you can help me out.
Thanks in advance.

Hi AppleLemon,
I know of Columbia that offers a General LLM with Torts as one of their modules as well as environmental law. I believe torts is a part of the civil procedure and dispute resolution course (L6118).
I am also aware of Stanford and Georgetown offering Environmental law and torts law although both provide these classes as part of their LLM in environmental law.
Regards

Thanks llmadvise!! But I think I can't apply to those programs, because my performance in Toefl wasn't so good. I solely scored 94 (R26, L24, S20, W24).
However, I can tell you that my gpa is about 3.2 and I was part of the 15% top of my class.

Hope you can help me (or anybody) considering these facts.

I think you can look at Vanderbilt and UMN with those scores. You would also need to show other proof of English Proficiency I suppose.

Hi AppleLemon, You may look at University of California- Hastings College. They accept TOEFL scores of 94. Miami school of law provides a law torts course and requires a TOEFL score of 92. American Wasghington College of law requires a TOEFL score of 93. Good luck.

Hi AppleLemon,

Most of the law schools have courses in Torts. Just be sure that these schools allow LL.M. students to enroll in first year courses.
