I want to take a LLM and my favorites subjects are international transactions, contract law, arbitration...in general International business law...
In UK I know LSE and Queen Mary have a LLM in International Business Law, but I would like to know in the USA which is the best university with this emphasis...Thank you

Hey! To answer your question, Columbia and NYU generally are good for their LLMs in subjects related to international business law- at Columbia, Corporate and Securities Law, Law and Economics, Accounting and Statistics etc are good business law related areas of study. Moreover, you can earn up to six points of academic credit toward the degree in graduate courses taken in other faculties of the University and thus take courses from Graduate School of Business at Columbia.
However, NYU has, apart from its the-best Taxation programme, excellent degrees (which match your interests too): LL.M. in Corporation Law and LL.M. in International Business Regulation, Litigation and Arbitration. New York in any case is the best place to study for a business lawyer in the US.
A point worth considering is whether spending $70k (living expenses included) for a LLM degree is actually worth it? While, I would refrain from commenting on Queen Mary's status, I am definitely very confident about LSE's LLM in International Business Law. It's worth it! Moreover, LSE has a very good reputation internationally (including in the US) and is much more affordable than a US LLM.

I have the same question in mind but I think if you wish to work in the US after a LL.M., people say that the market is quite tide, so I guess LSE sounds like a better option considering its reputation in Europe.
