Hi,
I am in the process of applying for a Fulbright scholarship and I need to point out three universities of preference (in the USA) for an LLM. My main interest are Legal Gender Studies, and I have trouble finding related programs at US universities.
Does anybody know where I can find information about Gender Study Programs or which universities offer such programs?
I would be very grateful for help!
thanks
Marion

I can't imagine that there is a specific LLM but Carol Sanger, Catherine Franke, and Ariella Dubler at Columbia do a lot of very interesting work on gender and the law. Sanger and Franke also run the feminist legal theory workshop there.

You should check out American University (WCL). The International Legal Studies Program offers a specialization in Gender and the Law.

One of the SPILS student at Stanford this year is focusing on gender related issues. I would check the Stanford Law School website to spot professors specializing in this topic.

Hi,
thanks a lot for your responses!!
I got a question about those programs at Columbia: Do you know if I need to take the GRE test to attend those programs? Because at Fulbright they told me that I don't need the GRE for an LLM, but at the program site they say that GRE is required, so I'm confused.....

Columbian College and Columbia are not the same institutions.
You don't need to do the GRE for an LLM at Columbia Law School in the City of New York.
