I am an LL.M in Development Laws from the Univ of Warwick, UK and have been working as an activist/ academic for the past three years in India and Uk on Human Rights and development issues. I would like to pursue another masters in US, in the area of development and Patent Laws, specifically GMOs and Agriculture in the Indian context. Considering my background. could anyone please guide me as to my choice to Law Schools on the West Coast? I cannot apply in Berkeley since I have already hold an LL.M from a UK University. I understand Stanford is the best, but then I am not very confident of securing an admisson there since I have not been a practicing attorney in the field of IP.
