I have been offered a LL.M seat at Dickinson and $3000 as scholarship. I am a foreign student. Is dickinson's LL.M program of repute? Kindly advise me as to whether I should go for it or not?

depends on what other options you've..if you mention that then we can give some comparative inputs..i know penn state has a beautiful campus one in philadelphia and other in some 70 miles from the city. The main campus is awesome and very pretty and also school of law has an excellent faculty. so as i said one can compare given the other options you've.

First of all I am grateful to you for your advise, thank you. this is the only admission offer I have in hand as of now and i am awaiting one more decision from University of Maryland which is starting its LL.M program this year for the first time. And probably one more awaited decision from Washington and Lee. This sums it up for me. I have opted for the new campus in University Park which penn state claims as its flagship campus.

manmeet, out of these three schools you mentioned, i'd go for penn state. penn state program is better known than maryland and WL. since maryland is starting their program for the first time, they'll be experimenting a lot in the curriculum and so i'd not like to be part of statistics. I'v not seen university park campus (philadelphia) but been to the other one which is the home of penn state college football stadium. i'm not sure which one is the main campus but you can find it it on on their website. the campus is huge and i observed lot of energy on the campus. also the program impressed me a lot . but i've not applied this year and doing my due diligence at this time and yes i'm international candidate.goodluck

I just wanted to correct the above posts - Dickinson does not have a campus in Philladelphia - but rather campuses in Carlisle and University Park (at the main Penn State University campus).
