Hi,
I am a Nigerian who graduated (LLB) from a good university in London last year. Although I'm not licensed to practice law in England, I've been working in a firm specialising in commercial and international trade law since last year. I have an exhaustive list of extra curriculum activities and other legal work experience. I also have an article published on a contemporary issue in International law. My plan is to practice law in new york but I understand how hard it can be to secure a job. For this reason, I want to pursue an llm in International legal studies from NYU, AU, Georgetown or Cornell with an intention of getting a job (internship) with an International organisation in New York or DC. What are my chances? Also, what law schools create the best career service and network opportunities for students seeking internships with international organisations.
Any sort of advise will be appreciated.
Many thanks
