hi all! i am from india, in the final year of my LL.B. program. i am planning to apply to U.S. universities this fall for a masters in international trade law. can someone please help me out with the names of the good universities in this area. i have shortlisted NYU, Georgetown and Michigan-Ann Arbor. Are these fine? Have i left out anything important?
the important criteria for me are job prospects, networking and interaction with faculty, in that order...
which brings me to my next question, how good are the job prospects in an international trade law masters?
waiting for a saviour! thanks!

Ciao,
if you are interested in International Trade Law, probably the best choice is New york University, that has an excellent ranking (top five - just below Harvard and Yale) and good job opportunities.
Its Programme concerns both Competition Law and IP Law. Anyway look at NYU website, where you will find all informations needed for this LLM...
Finally consider that you will live in an amazing city for one year!

No, I'm from Italy and planning to go to London for my LLM.
I would have applied for NYU if I had been in time...but the deadline for 2006-2007 was december 2005, as for many others US universities, so I had to look at UK Programmes...

hey, even I am an Indian law student looking for an llm in international trade in the 2009-2010 term... I would really appreciate some advice on the following aspects:
i. As I have an equal interest in pursuing intellectual property & competition law, I was wondering which college offers the best electives? Also which have the best professors/job market?
ii. What is the job market for international trade law llm graduates in EU? I am saying EU on account of the fact of avoiding the Bar in the US.
iii. Any specific reason why NYU should be preferred over, say, Georgetown?
I hope you guys can help me out..
