I´m a spanish lawyer. I´m thinking to make the international LLM in Michigan or Florida in USA. In the other hand also I think thath Leiden and Vienna have good programs.
What I want to do is a "international Taxation", so I worry about Michigan/Florida LLM are american law-based programs. However, I know that european prograns are really based in International Tax.
What do you think about this question. And what is yor opinion about Michigan University??
Thanks a lot.

I think you should definitely contact their admissions and express your concerns; they would be more than happy to clarify.
Michigan's International Tax Program is almost exclusively meant for foreign lawyers.
You should probably study the faculty biographies too and compare.

(BTW I think Lokken has retired...and Brauner has replaced him as the International Tax Professor)
Here are the current rankings for the tax programs:

Thanks for you answer Atara.
It's possible that visit both universities to know from closer the campus and the programs, taking advantage of now I´m in USA.
In spite of the ranking that you showed me, I've heard in several of these post that Michigan may be within three best International taxations LLM in USA, because of its small-sized LLM (not more than ten people), and its director is one of the most experts in Int.Tax in USA. What do you think about this? And what do you think about U.Mich. only admits foreign students??
Thanks, Atara.
