HLS 2009/2010 - An issue regarding the application

Nail

Sorry if I write this post once again, I am really concerned regarding this question...I need your help.
For those of you that used the electronic application, have you accessed the website later on to view the submitted application form? I did, and I sadly discovered that the three essay sections ("Personal Statement, Accademic Interest and Career Plans) were not in there.
Now, I am wondering whether this is normal (those sections have a different format from the rest of the application, hence it could be that they are not supposed to come out in the printed copy) or rather it occurred only in my case (perhaps there was an error of transmission!)
Can you check on your submitted application and tell me what the answer is? I guess that if it's the latter, then I am screwed.
Many thanks in advance!

Did you get an "application complete" mail at some point? If yes, there should be no problem.

Also, what do you mean by these essay sections? The Personal Statement/Legal Essay is a seperate document, while Academic Interest and Career Plans are little sections on the main application form. I think the online submission would not have worked if there PS document were missing and/or if these sections on the application form were left blank.

When did you find these errors? If I remember correctly, before finally submitting the application online, you had to review the entire document anyway. If it wasnt missing back then, and if you didnt hear from HLS about any incomplete sections, I think there's no need to worry.

I just checked mine and it's all there. Don't panic, though - if you didn't hear otherwise HLS should have received it all.

TwelfthMonkey,

thanks a lot for noting that! I didn't realize that the personal statement is a separate essay anyways.
To be more clear, in fact I did not spot any error when I reviewed the application before submitting it, but I just found out later that those parts were not in there.
Immediately, I asked them if they could check whether the application was Ok but they said they were not able to access at that moment and advised me to send a copy via fax. After I did that, I did not check the application for a while and indeed I have not received any request from HLS, which calmed me down. However when I accessed the application few days ago I saw that they had inserted the personal statement at the end of the application, but not the two other two sections. As a result, I started to fear that they have misplaced those and have not even considered my application (nor called me to ask further documents) because of that....
Now, if you tell me that is only the personal statement which is uploaded as separate essay, I feel better because that may be the reason why I can't see the other two sections (18 and 19)...
The question remains, though, why they heck did those sections not come out in the first place...
