I am confused because I understand NYU has been issuing its decisions this week, and I haven't received anythind, neither a yes nor a No.

I wrote to them bc I have been admitted at Georgetown and King's College (london) and wanted to know if when they reject an applicant they inform by email, so i can be sure and proceed to accept one of the other offers.

They answered back and said they will make everyone who applied before dec 1's deadline know about their decision, positive or negative this week.

So im confused cause I haven't got a single notification from them.

I submitted my papers at the end of november, but I am now doubting if my TOEFL scores were delivered late to them, and they didnt consider me for the first round.

Has any of you received a rejection email?

Does someone know if NYU actually notify their rejections?

Well, today they said the oppposite, that they cannot guarantee they will be able to answer to foreign applicants before March 15.

Weal: Since it seems that a lot of foreign students have already received their admissions offers from NYU it seems to me that up to this moment no news are bad news. Hope I am wrong.

I heard someone received a rejection letter from NYU last Friday. So, it appears NYU had started sending all decisions recently, not only the ADs. According to last year's experience, NYU will send out most decisions by mid March. Let's hope for the best.

I do not think no news is necessarily bad news. It could be that the reason NYU has not sent out the 2nd batch of news is that they are waiting for the people with the really big scholarships to either turn it down or accept it. then they can re-allocate or offer whatever is left to the rest. well, at least, this is what i am hoping they will do.

april 15. i think thats the deadline for all those that got accepted without any scholarship.

w/o scholarship...15th april

but that was for the 1st round...

Then is the deadline for acceptance the same for both the rounds???

I guess, the deadline for acceptance for those without scholarships is the same whether u got in the first or second round. But for those that got scholarships for the second round, then there deadline for acceptance would be different.
