No, I mean when they last updated the status which took place about more than 10 hours ago, my status was still COMPLETE; while now it turned into DECISION, but there is no record that they updated the status during the last 10 hours, so I suspect whether the status was changed automatically by the system.

Well, frankly, I am not sure that the decision will be made known to all applicants within today. According to the info provided in the online status checking page, it says that the "Decision" status means "The Admissions Committee has reached a decision on your application. If you have not already received our correspondence, you should receive your decision within a week to ten days.". And I am not sure whether we will be informed via email either. Perhaps, all we can do now is waiting for up to ten days.

However, I don't know how much applications for early review program there are this year and how difficult the admissions team must have when working on them. It might be possible that they may need couple more days for this.

I heard that you can log into the Georgetown Law Admitted Students Website to test whether your decision is an admission. Have anybody successfully logged in with your status check account? Mine says the admitted students system is still not yet open...

I just called to ask whether I could change my postal address. They said that in any case, they would also aim to send out admissions/rejection emails by the end of today for all Early Action applicants - so perhaps there will be less waiting involved after all?

End of the day !!, so the week thing is just a precaution thing for them right? a week or ten days seem too long a wait !

Well in D.C its not yet the end of the day so there is still hope. About 2 more hours to go.

Just received this email from GULC:

Thank you for applying to the Master of Laws (LL.M.) program at Georgetown University Law Center under our Early Action decision process. The Committee on Graduate Admissions has reviewed your application for the Fall 2011 semester and has concluded that the record you present is a strong one. However, the Committee has decided to defer making a final decision on your file until we have a better sense of this year's applicant pool. Therefore, your application will be reviewed again along with our Regular Action applicants.

I guess that is at least something!

rejects login.. my take is that it means rejection.. i understand that GULC decided not to enroll anyone at all for 2011-2012 and live off the application fees only...

Haven't been able to log on to the admitted students site since last night. I don't think it means rejection. :-) Will let you know if it does, tho.

that is so cruel lol... Why don't they just send out the content of the decisions without teasing the applicants before hand by posting the information that there is a final decision but they are not going to know what it is for ten days?
