Anybody else thinking about applying to Harvard for 2021? Do you think admissions will be more selective, given what's happening with COVID19?
Harvard LLM next year?

I was admitted for 2020-2021 and deferred to next year because of the pandemic. More than 100 of us deferred - most were approved to defer to 2021 start. Others were refused 2021 entry and were only granted option of deferral to 2022-2023 as they applied to defer too late or their deferral justifications did not meet the criteria. Others didn’t want to risk losing their scholarships and grants so decided against deferring altogether.
In light of the above, I can’t help but think that places will be limited next academic year (just my opinion - not fact). It could be one of either two options:
1) HLS keep the regular size incoming next year and admit the amount needed to reach this.
or
2) HLS increase class size to accommodate more students (which I think it highly unlikely as students were moved to class of 2022-2023 as I mentioned).

Well, that kind of sucks, because it will be extremely harder to get in. However, I'll try anyway. :D
