someone that open a thread regarding the status of a website that doesnt change it must be an idiot.

Perhaps, but I reckon not nearly as much an idiot as the someone who puts up posts such as the one quoted without heed for a civil tongue or the English language.

Let's not feed the troll...

It seems to me that this is a thread for mutual reassurance where we might otherwise be uncertain or paranoid...how successful it is is another matter!

Does anyone know whether it is customary for HLS to call admitted students over telephone before sending the admission email? If yes, may be a good idea to keep the phone at hand more often.

My understanding is that all communications are made in writing (via e-mail and, if admitted, via regular mail/FedEx, etc.).

Hi,

The status s with respect to the TOEFL Waiver decision appears as NA since the month of Jan 2010. Does this mean I need to give the TOEFL or that I do not need to satisfy this criteria on account of pursuing my law degree in English language. Am very anxious and could really do with friendly advise. I am really stressing out!!! HELP HELP

This appears normal. I do not think any action by you is required.

I forecast that decisions will be sent to applicants beginning the week of March 22. Last year, based upon prior posts, decisions were sent to applicants beginning the week of March 15. Spring break occurred the following week in 2009. This year, spring break occurs the week of March 15. Accordingly, decisions being sent to applicants during the week of March 8 would not be consistent with a "late March" notification. I therefore believe that the week of March 22 is the target for notifications.

Since you have so much free time and are so keen in making stupid comments on other people's ideas and actions, it seems you're overdue in getting a life yourself.

@ Rah 84, relax.. N/A means that they have deemed you proficient in English and you don't require a score to prove that. I second our friend jsd here. In other words, all that you have to worry bout, is the final decision .. (count me in the same boat and the rest of us here :) All the best..

@ Dr. Dick Lets not feed the troll doc. just ignore him...

@jsd. hey, nice spotting you after a while on this forum...been a while..

@ Rah - don't worry, that means they don't expect you to do TOEFL as they deem you proficient.

I don't think they bother updating the check/money order bit if you paid online through Embark as the system verifies your successful payment automatically.

Think I'm going to avoid checking LLM Guide until I find out one way or the other, now (don't want to fuel the fires of paranoia any further given that I feel my chances of success are limited!) - wish all of you the very best of luck & hope late March brings happy news :)
