Harvard LLM 2024-2025

YSJang

Hello everyone! Looking forward to connect with all of you! I was wondering if you happen to know around what date the faculty’s decision will be released for foreign trained attorneys please.

The decision will be out in around mid-March for all applicants regardless of whether a local or a foreign student (including trained attorney).

Good luck to you !!

Hi folks,
I've revisited the log-in page and discovered something intriguing.

I've made two applications (as most of you would have done):
- the LLM Program Application;
- Financial Aid Application.

After submitting, I've received an automated response for each application. The reply to the LLM Application states, "check the status" by logging into the "Status Page". When I attempted to log in, I encountered an "Unsupported Method" error.

Conversely, I have an email response for the Financial Aid Application, which similarly states, "check the status of your financial aid application" by logging into the "Status Page." Clicking on this link, I was able to log in immediately. It redirects me to the LLM Application page, displaying a list of all documents I've sent to Harvard and their receipt of the same.

I'm uncertain about the reason for the discrepancy between the two links, might be a tech glitch?

Besides, has anyone been contacted by Harvard Scholarships Office for scholarship opportunities?

Same, Financial Aid link works but Status doesn't. I could log in through website.

My application materials status is 'received'. It was like that basically 15 minutes after submitting application ;)

I had no contact from Harvard Scholarship Office for scholarship opportunities. I checked all Harvard scholarship options and I don't qualify for any, so if some of you guys don't get any emails it may be just that :)

Fingers crossed for mid march 1f91e1f91e1f91e

Also, congratulation if they contact you with scholarship offers - I focused on other applicants reading this who didn't get any email that they may be overly stressed now 1f602 I wish you all the best!

All the best to y'all, we applied and that means we did everything we could, and now it's not in our control.

Hi all! I hope you are well.
I am interested in applying next year for the HARVARD LLM. My credentials are as follows:
- Argentine lawyer graduated from the University of Buenos Aires. GPA: 8/10. - Worked for two years in a top tier law firm in Argentina. - After working in Argentina, I moved to Madrid, where I validated my law degree and completed a master's degree at the University of Navarra. GPA: 8/10. - I am qualified in Argentina and Spain - I am currently an associate at White & Case (US law firm) Madrid.
What are my chances of getting into HARVARD?

Non-zero, but less than 100%

As March is upon us, I wish all of you the best of luck. Hopefully, this month will bless all of us with great news. Given that I've applied solely to Harvard I have no other pending decisions but I truly wish to all of you the best of luck in each and every one of your other applications.

Dear fellows I wish you luck to all of you, God´s Willing, looking forward to meet you in person at Harvard Law School LLM after our admission!
I am eager to know people as me in the class, to improve our world through law!

I was wondering, whether the Harvard´s LLM admission committee would consider beneficial from an applicant the following facts:
-To be a winner of university, national and regional international research contests.
- Start lecturing (law teaching) shortly after graduation.
- Getting a LLB GPA of 10.00/10.00 (My country's grading scale?)
- Pro bono experience.
BUT do not fulfilling a toefl subscore.

what do you think?

I'm in a similar situation. I got a 23 in the writing subsection, but got 28-30 in the rest of the subsections. Likewise, I, too, have won research contests, have three publications, graduated with honors, was in the top 10% of my class, won an International MOOT and national debate contest, and have three years of work experience in the Constitutional Tribunal of my country. To be honest, I'm not worried about not fulfilling the toefl subscore, because the instructions clearly state that if you don't comply with the required score you can be in a less convenient position in comparison with the rest of the applicants; nevertheless, this kind of processes hold a holistic view, so if you have a strong application, which I believe you do, you still have a chance to get admitted.

By the way, I was going through the discussions of previous years and applicants with scores slightly below the required threshold of 25 got in.

I am planning to apply for HLS LLM next year. If you would give some info about how and what you wrote for academic writing requirement for HLS? I would be grateful.

Does anyone want play “Guess the date that decisions will be released?”

Here is the data that someone in last year’s thread (with too much time on their hands ????) provided regarding the historical dates that decisions were released:

2009 - 22nd - Sunday
2010 - 21st - Sunday
2011 - 19th - Saturday
2012 - 18th - Sunday
2013 - 18th - Monday
2014 - 19th - Wednesday
2015 - 17th - Tuesday
2016 - 16th - Wednesday
2017 - 15th - Wednesday
2018 - 15th - Thursday
2019 - 14th - Thursday
2020 - 16th - Monday
2021 – 19th - Friday
2022 – 17th - Thursday
2023 - 15th  - Wednesday

Here is my unscientific guess for this year —Decisions will be released on Monday, March 18th.

Hi everyone,

Wishing you all the best in your application process. Hopefully, we’ll have the chance to meet in August. Considering spring break (9-17th March), it is quite likely that the decisions will be released on the 17th or 18th.

Warm regards from Balkan.
