Has Harvard's LL.M. deadline been extended to December 12, 2011? Someone who can confirm this?

I am also trying to confirm this. I received the email from embark stating that is was and so did some of my other colleagues who are applying, but Harvard's website and online application still say that its Dec 1st.

Harvard's admissions office confirmed me by e-mail that the application deadline has been extended to December 12, 2011. So I don't worry anymore.

How do they inform applicats when decisions are made and when?

The last years they sent an email the third monday of april.
