Haha, really hope so! Lets keep our fingers crossed, that we all hear soon from HLS! ;) Thanks a lot for the info, Flowergirl!
Wish you all the best as well!!

The previous years, HLS released its results on the third Monday of March. So, this year it would be March, 21st. Honnestly, I'm quite sure it'll be this day in the afternoon...

I expect to hear from Harvard either March 21 or 22. I wonder why some schools (Yale, Harvard, Cambridge) take so long to inform applicants of their decisions though. NYU I see is also following that path (except for its Tax program).

Don't they understand all that we go through for four entire months (constantly "tracking our status", checking LLM Guide, starting threads just to help pass the time and share the wait with similarly anxious applicants? This is too much I tell you! But I love it!!! :)

Awww. Don't be anxious yet Lisa11. I guess looking at the big picture, life will go on just fine whatever the outcome is ( at least for me. I mean it will be terrific to get an opportunity but if not, i will make my own opportunity somehow and somewhere else. Anyway, it's valentines day so i should go read some interesting news on how people celebrate. Hope admission people get some times off to celebrate too :) later!

The status of my "Official TOEFL Score Report" appears as "Received", so I guess they didn't find my English that fluent...

Dear daap11
Did were your courses during undergraduate years in English? If not, it's only normal that they take a look at your toefl score-although I am sure u r very fluent ;) Did u ever get an application complete email? I still have not gotten mine. Let's see in march.

My education and courses were in Spanish (only one or two courses in English).

I never got an application complete e-mail; step 5 shows that my rec letters were received though, and the status tracker shows that my LSAC Report, TOEFL score report (Feb 16th) and transcripts (through LSAC) were received. I also used credit card to submit payment.

I doubt there is any complete email. They did email me to ask for additional documents to complete my file. Again, even after that, there has been no complete email.

Indeed, HLS does not send any email since one can track his/her status via the online embark application...

Quite surprinsigly, some specific transcripts and a 5th letter of recommendation went to "received" yesterday (though they were actually received a few months ago).

Yea, mine too. My recommendations were always saying "submitted" until sometime last week they said "received".

I wonder if that means, they have just started to review my application?

Do yiou think that asking for additionnal documents at this time means something ? or it is only to complete an applicant file ?

They have asked me to send a certificate proving that I am doing a Ph.D..

So I dont know how to interpret it..

I sincerely think they are interested in you because they take the time to equest for info during this busy time. In my case, they have asked for nothing. My account went frozen a long time ago. I have a feeling I may be out of the pool of applicants to be considered. Sigh...

Do you think that this is the case... ? My account has also been the same since December. That is probably not a good sign...

I think we are all trying to read too much between the lines. Of course that is an excellent way to kill time until decisions are out and it provides a certain variety to checking embark every hour but it is definitely not the most stress free. I personally think that the admissions process is so unexpected and hard to grasp that our assumptions will only make us feel better or worse to no avail. I don't mean to sound cool because I'm not and I definitely feel for you! Fingers crossed everyone and the time till mid March shall pass. Good luck to all who are waiting!
