Where did you hear that March 22, is THE day?

dmedvedev posted on February 28 that he received an email from Harvard that stated such info (actually it's the 21st). However last year same thing happened, Harvard responded in an email that march 22nd was THE day and it was earlier, on March 19th, the day when all admitted students received THE EMAIL! good luck to you all!

Well Max1.. I think Mr. Who ment all of the admitted students received email notification on the same day.

Let's hope HLS surprises us and send out results earlier this year as well! Maybe tomorrow why not : ).

Called them up last night and got this email response.

Dear [],

Thank you for your call today regarding your upcoming deadline for Columbia on March 10, 2008. We are still processing decisions and this information will not be released until late March. However, given your pending offer of admission, we will do our best to provide you with as much information as possible before your deadline. A member of our Admissions staff will be in contact with you.

Who knows, today may come the first wave... last year thread suggested 7 is the charmed number!

I got the same answer yesterday..... I don't think is a good sign...

I called HLS admissions earlier. Just got this email.


I am writing in response to your call requesting an early admission decision from Harvard Law School. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with a definitive answer at this time. If you have scholarship and or admission deadlines from other schools and cannot get an extension until March 21, 2008, then I would have to strongly advise you not to give up your other offers for the possibility of being admitted to Harvard Law School, especially since we will not be able to provide you with our financial aid decisions until early April.


Is this a rejection? Anyone got other response?

Well, does anyone here knows if it's a polite rejection? I feel that it's probably not such a good sign, since some people were already offered early admission in responce to their e-mail's about other deadlines...

Well.. I think this is their particular format of answering the students...and its really is not a negetive reply... only thing left now to do is to wait till 21st march...

So much for trying to save 500 quid. Has anyone actually got offer of admission to HLS in response to your request for an early decision? Last year thread suggests some ppl got early admission but told to keep it to themselves. Is it possible that ppl who get the above email are on waiting list?
