GWU´s LL.M. program is by far a better. Its international law program, for instance, which offers several courses related to maritime law, is ranked 6th or 7th in the U.S.

I want to study Maritime law if I go to Tulane, or specialized in International and comparative law if I go to GWU. By far, my plan is take the NY bar exam after my graduation. It would be best if I could get a one or two year job in US and then come back to my China, my home country (I have been to HK and considering work there). I am not sure whether maritime is field suit for female. By far, commercial law field also seems to be better choice to me. (I have got an internship in a maritime law firm, female lawyers have natural limitation:(
GWU gave me a scholarship in the form of half tuition waiver, about 18000$ and Tulane offer 25000$
please tell me your opinion given the information given above:)

Thank you:)
I choose to specialize in international and comparative law in GWU. By far, I prefer to go to GWU. However, I am a bit hesitated because I do not know which program more fits a girl or which one will more easy for a Chinese (me :)) to get a job after my graduation. By far, my plan is after my llm, I could pass the NY bar, ger a job and stay one to two years in US, then came back to China( prefer to work in HK)

Hi,
My undergraduate law degree is in Dalian Maritime U law school, China and will graduate this July. I applied both Tulane (Maritime, 25000$ scholarship) and GWU(international and comparative law, half tuition waiver). I want to practice either in Maritime or commercial law field in the future.
Future five years plan: get a llm degree, pass NY bar, get a one to two years job in US and then come back to China, prefer to work in HK.
:)
