I am an international student (from Australia) coming to the US to do an LLM in 2010-2011.
I have been accepted into Georgetown, Columbia and NYU, and I'm not sure where to go. I'd appreciate any tips/thoughts/feedback. I am interested in hearing about the quality of the courses, university life, and living in New York vs Washington DC.
Factors which may impact my decision:
- I was not offered financial aid or scholarships at any of these universities
- I want to study IP law subjects
- I want to be an academic, not a practising lawyer
- my partner will be accompanying me (he has his own work but we want to live together)
