I read Berkeley Law does not have a specific minimum GPA requirement for LL.M. applicants. However what about in practice?
Has GPA a major effect to admission?
And how about the other universities which qualify a foreign lawyer to sit for the bar in California, or New York?

Even if they existed, the numbers would be fairly meaningless. Students are coming from so many different countries with vastly different grading systems. Even between law schools in the US and Canada that ostensibly use similar letter systems, there is a massive difference in the way students are graded.
