Hello everyone,
Can someone please tell me whether you have received a confirmation of enrollment from Georgetown - whether they have received your deposit...? Has anyone wired their deposit?
Thank you.

Hi Tigris,
My application was complete only on 21 April but I received a decision in 3.5 weeks, so it did not take that long. My application was a late one too so I think you still have a chance. I declined the offer though. Good Luck!

Hi everybody! Congrats to all of you! I too have been admitted to Georgetown, but I am struggling with making a decision. I have also received an offer for a JD but would really want to start working after 9 months of studies. My focus is international organizations. Does anyone know how much in demand they are among the LLM students? Any thoughts on that and also on job opportunities in general after the LLM at Georgetown are more than welcomed. I hold a law degree from Sweden but I would rather be working in the US.
Congratulations again to all of you!

Dear all:
I am a Georgetown Alumni (I graduated 2 years ago) and I want to tell you how lucky you are. Not only you are probably in the best LL.M. program in the States but also you are going to have the time of your life.
Three tips:
1.- Go to Foundations: during that time you will have to study moderately and it worth your time. You will make friends in an easygoing environment that will help you pass your courses and study.
2.- The second part of the program (the main LL.M) is quite demanding. Enjoy foundations as much as you can.
3.- Use your Teaching Assistants. They are some of the best former LL.Ms. Use also the FLAG volunteers in the Georgetown web site, they are there to help you solving any problem.
Besides that, Dory Mayer (director of the international programs) is like a mother to all students, if your need anything important ask her.
One more important tip: dont be cheap choosing a place to live. It is one of the most important decisions you will make once you have been accepted to Georgetown. Be cheap with food, drinks, clothes...but not with your new home.
