I will not be attending foundations but hope to see you all during orientation in August. It is great that the LL.M. program is so international. Hello everyone!!!

Count me in for the Georgetown LL.M. Program in International Legal Studies. I am so excited to join all of you guys in August. However I will not be able to attend foundations as I will be graduating from by current law school at that point.

I received my acceptance by email, and then after 4-5 days I received a huge pack by fedex. The pack contained a Georgetown Docier with all the rerelevant info..life at Georgetown Law Center, at Washington DC, financing, entrollement form, visa application etc.

Where do you guys plan to live next year?

Is it true that "all classes will" be conducted during the evenings?

Is there anyone who is under 21 years old doing the LLM?

Both. Got lots of mail from them after the initital e-mail offering admission.
The admission e-mail was as early as Dec. 9!

Anybody is planning to take J.D. courses? I want to take Bankruptcy in the Fall but I don't know if i will get a space in the class.

Can I ask when you all applied to the LLM programme. My application was received on May 15 and I am just told that my application is complete and that it would take them aproximately 8 weeks in order to make a decision. Isn't that a long time? There's something fishy about this. Do you think I have been put on the wait list without being told?

Looks like your application is a late one. In fact the deadline for GULC LL.M. is March 1st. So I guess you application will be considered on a space-available basis. However, I think there are a lot of spaces for you b/c a lot of admitted students are not going to join GULC this fall. Keep your hopes alive. don't worry.

Are you Greek? Don't worry, I think the best thing you could do is to call them and inquire about the status of your application and see how things are going. They are really nice. I am sure there will be some places available. I hope to see you in Georgetown this fall, as everyone one else as well from this board!

To the rest LL.M. admits:

When you enrolled, did you receive any kind of confirmation from them, as in the form of email, or letter? I wired the enrolment fee along with the first deposit last week but I have not heard from them.

Lets make a list on all people going to Georgetown this fall. By the way I heard that Washington is absolutely beautiful.
