Hey Guys! Just to let you know that I just declined my GTown Offer, so there's one more spot available!

All those who have been admitted. Has there been any news regarding financial aid?
Posted Apr 08, 2014 11:37
I have not yet heard on aid. I emailed the school and they said offers will be made through April on a funding availability basis.

Okay thanks!

I received an e-mail letting me know I was on the waitlist on March 28th, is it ok that I have not yet sent in a LOCI?
I want it to be well written and also waiting on a LOR, plus the email mentioned that waitlist candidates apps will be reevaluated in summer, so I should be fine on timing right?
Anyone that was placed on the waitlist received an acceptance yet?

Hi Globalawyer
I have been put on the waitlist since november 2013 and still have not heard anything yet!
Anyway, you are applying for the two year llm program, right? Would you mind revealing your Toefl score?

Wow, that's a long wait :-( Did you send in anything after knowing you had been waitlisted?
I applied for the General Studies LLM. My TOEFL score is 117/120. What about you? Do you think that is what is hurting your app?

Wow I bet you will finally make it!. Your score is so much more than lots of my friends who have already been admitted. Mine is only 97. I sent an extra lor, my working paper, loci, updated version of sop, financial support statement.
I've been searching many past posts about the waitlist. Guess they might start picking up the waitlist in late of April or in early of May.

Unfortunately, I don't think my TOEFL score is enough to get me accepted :-( I am sending in two extra LORS and a LOCI.
Hopefully we will get replies soon.... can't wait until August to find out, personally.

Just vacated a spot for someone on the waiting list. Going to Penn.
Good luck !
You will be specializing in which field of law? What made you decide for Penn instead of GT?
Hi escapist
Ranking is one reason, possibility to take classes at Wharton, but especially number of llm students: over 200 at GT and less than 100 at Penn.
Good luck !</blockquote>

Didn't they mention that they would get back latest by May? I'm not sure I'd be waiting even till then. I've been asked to respond by Tuesday.

Well they say they will update again in May, doesn't mean it will be with a final answer I think...
I have to respond by Monday!!! Why the difference?!

My mistake, Monday the 14th it is.
I'm guessing they will have to make a revised list atleast by May. Even if they have admission extensions granted to the admitted students it would be at best till the end of April. That seems to be the trend. Also, August will be too late. Foreign students like us need time to prepare for the visa etc., for which they would need to issue the I-20 letter to each new student.

True, August is really too late for foreign students.
I hope you are right and that we receive good news by May :D

Hey guys,
Just received the same email. Did all of the wait-listed received the same email.
Frustrated :(
I have looked at the posts of the J.D student past years, and the committee sent the same email to some of the wait-listed, not all of them!
I am just curious to see if the committee has sent the same email for all of the wait-listed or some of them.
Good luck guys..
