Georgetown Early Action Application Submitted!

I have one more question, please.

I understand that the personal reference form shall be given to the recommenders, rights? Then, they fill them in and enclose the recommendation letter itself.

And what about the "registrar's certification form", "grading system sheet" and "application for admission"? Are they supplementary to the online application and shall be mailed to the university?

thanks in advance.

Hey,

Those forms that you're mentioning must be printed and send them with the rest of the documents to GULC (transcript, etc.). Once you finish the online application the soft will let you know which documents you should courier. I think that three of the must be sumbmitted by courier, but do the online application and follow the instructions. However, you can send them if you want with the rest of your material.

My recommenders submitted their forms electronically, since I understood that's the way they prefer at GULC.
I'm still not sure about the supplemental forms - they say we should mail them but at the same time it is instructed that the grading system sheet should be uploaded. and I can't type on the pdf form, how about you? think am just going to enter the questions and my answers manually and submit the application....

I've typed them manually and submit them both by pdf and in my courier.

Hi there

I don't know much about other (and better) software that allows us to type on PDF file. My brother got me "Foxit PDF Editor" program to type, save and print the files. I like it a lot. One con is you have to type it line by line.

I typed in & printed Registrar's Certification forms and gave to my universities to attach with their official transcripts.

My Personal Reference Forms were given to law professors and they attached the forms with their letters.

These two documents were sent by courier.

My Grading System Sheet was sent electronically with my application.

Oh... I don't use LSAC so maybe it's a different case. I think in your case, you might just submit your Registrar's Certification Form directly to Georgetown by courier along with other materials.

I think the Registrar's Certification must be sent to GUSL by the Law School. Mine sent it directly to GULC and since I use LSAC, the transcript were sent there.
What kind of recommenders do you have? I had one law professor and my partner from the law firm where I work.

Hi applicant 86,
I had the dean and my superior supervisor. Nothing outstanding as I didn't really know them personally :)

Hi guys!

I have been trying to access the online application status check for the past days, but it simply doesn't work.
Do you have access to it?
I got the email confirming my application had been submitted but not that it was "received" (as they explain on their website), although it was like 10 days ago... and no email to say they received my materials via postmail either.. i may just be cracking up but all this stresses me a lot!
and about the recommendation letters, i sent in 2 as well, a law professor and a partner of a law firm.

cheers!

I face the same situation as you... havn't got confirmation email from Georgetown yet. I guess we will just have to wait a little longer. Anyways, this doesn't stress me much as I am still struggling losing some words in Harvard's Personal Statement! lol

Keep in touch :)

Have you checked you LSAC account? I checked mine and Georgetown had requested my report. so I think that they have at least received my online applications and the documents attached thereto. Still wondering whether they have received the Registrar's Certification sent by my Law School...

Hi applicant86

I just checked with LSAC and yes, that have requested the report recently.
For the Registar's Certification, my law school simply refused to do it. so it's easier :)

Have you already received a confirmation e-mail that your applications are complete or that GULC has received the materials sent via mail? I haven't received anything, even though they have requested my LSAC report. I am only worried whether they have received the Registrar's Certification my law school sent via mail and matched it with the rest of my materials submitted electronically.
Compared to NYU, this application system is so much more confusing and unclear!
