Also, is there an acceptance email?

On April 27th I received an admissions email from Georgetown - the fedex followed on the 29th. I was able to logon to the admitted students website from the 25th, after my status had changed to "Decision."

I went to decision yesterday (5/1). No email, can't log in to the admitted students site (but it says you don't get access for four days).
I take it that I'm getting a thin letter?

I received an email today from admissions. I am on the waiting list and should give an answer by this Friday. I hope this info is of any help for those on the waiting list.

When were you put on the wait list?
Posted May 05, 2009 12:07
My first answer, a mailed letter dates April 24th!
Posted May 05, 2009 17:08
Mine turned to decision on April 29th and could log onto admitted students website on April 30th, received a fedex package yesterday and email today. I think they'll be making most decisions on their wait list after May 15th which is the deadline to pay the tuition deposit for those accepted.
Good luck to all!

Hi M&A ...
I went to a tier 3 school was top 20 with 5 electives being international law related and I had the highest score in at least two of those electives. In school I was a research assitant to a LLM International Economic Law professor who also is a UN tribunal judge.
I worked in-house for a fortune 100 Massachusetts Financial Group Company immediately after my JD and I'm a Member of the Massachusetts Bar. I now work as the General Manager of an International Export Organization.
There are some major weaknesses there "read ... tier 3" however think i made up for it in grades and subsequent accomplishments.

Turns out I got a rejection from the Securities Regulation program: Will graduate Summa on Saturday from a T20 school, worked for v5 firm in NYC, Published, Managing Board of Law Review, clerking on the 11th Circuit for 2010-2011. Just needed something to do for a year.
Oh well, GULC was my safety. I will take NYU's trade regulation program.

I just turned down an offer in the International Legal Studies LLM so there should be a place available soon for someone on the waiting list!
