Hi! I know that the IP llm program at GW is amazing but does anyone know how the general LLM program is? If you had to choose between GW and BU what would you pick?

Did you see the lists of their classes? Do classes at GWU seem more interesting/ applicable to your specialization than at BU (or the opposite)?

You can make a general LL.M.; however, you probably will kind of "specialize" (take more classes related to XX and not to YY) in something, right? Try to compare those (YOUR) classes. That is what I would do if I were you.

I am not sorry I can not offer you specific advice. I just tried to suggest how to compare the schools. I hope it helps.

It depends on your career objectives and/or your specialization. The IP Program at GWU is good, and so is the Banking and Financial Law Program at BU. As to a general LLM course, it also boils down on your geographical preference, whether you want to be in Washington, D.C. or in Boston. Washington, D.C. is of course the government center, while Boston is a university town.
