I have Indian law degree and have completed MS Corporate Finance from GSU as I was interested in Corporate Law. I have got admitted to Cardozo LL.M. General Studies with Securities and Finance law concentration. What will be the job prospects for me after completing LL.M. and taking bar exam: 1. with law firms, 2. in compliance departments of investment banks. 3. consulting jobs with big 4 accounting firms.

Also, does taking bar exam make any difference if I am to work with investment banks or accounting firms.

Is it at all worthwhile to do LL.M.?

I know u need specific ans to ur query. I am an advocate from Delhi and am planning to take adm in one of these available courses from the Universities in Manhattan (Manhattan coz., I wk in Manhattan). Anyway, I do believe that llm would definitely help boost ur career opp'ties, esp., in the fields u've mentioned.
I still've yet to apply in teh rspective school's, and would appreciate any advise and/or hellp accordingly. Anyway, wish u all the best and good luck in ur endeavor..
