Welcome everyone who is admitted to Fordham LL.M.!!! :-)
This question is for those who are admitted for the LL.M. in International Business and Trade Law.
We have to sign up for classes for the fall semester and I was wondering which classes is everyone signing up for?
And also, are there any students from The Netherlands???
I look forward to seeing all of you in the fall.

Hi. I'm actually going to NYU so I guess we'll be in the same city anyway. Are you Dutch? I met someone from The Netherlands recently at an ABA event in Washington. She is the program coordinator for the Institute for U.S. Law, which I believe has a quite interesting 4 week summer orientation program for foreign lawyers about to start LL.M programs in the U.S. It starts exactly 4 weeks before the LL.M, and I'm thinking of going but not sure if I can quit my current job 4 weeks earlier. You can email them if you're interested: info@iuslaw.org (ask for Joni). Hope to see you in NY (or DC?)...

Hey,
I've been also admitted to Fordham LLM in International and Trade Law. I decided to defer my participation in the program to fall 2006. I had a great opportunity to get familiar with the school in 2004 when I took courses of the American Language and Culture Department. The faculty is great. I also enjoyed the city and made a lot of friends etc.
Although, being a Hungarian attorney, I'm pretty unsure about my career opportunities upon graduating from this program. If anyone can share any experiences about job interviews and offers in NY for foreign graduates with LL.M. degree, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm also looking forward to any useful information about how American LL.M. degrees are evaluated in European firms regarding salaries and else.
Thx
Solt

Ciao tutti,
My name is Michelle Kramer and my boyfriend from Italy is applying for the LLM program at Fordham. I wanted to get advice from foreign students on what he should do. Especially Italian students, I need advice on what program he should take so that he can work here after.
