Aky, if it's a regular LSAC Online Application - and if I am not mistaken - you can either print a form, sign it and send it via regular mail or check the other box and sign electronically (I am not quite sure, checking the box might suffice).
Don't know if I could help...

Yes Spiike, Thank you for your answer ;)
The fact is that, contrary to the other LSAC online registration, they may have "forgotten" to enable the electronic signature, or leaving a space at that place : we just can't write our name by computer at that place :/
Well, I'll phone to them tomorrow
Meanwhile, I'll complete all the application (and scan a signed paper version, attached electronically with the rest of the documents)

Is fordham worth it? I'm asking sincerely as a prospective applicant, coz I dont want to waste the application costs also if the school is not worth it. How far is it fair to expect a job after fordham llm and ny bar passing. And even if we score a job, will it pay enough to repay the hugee student loan we will have to take to afford the program?
I just want to know the views of the people to know what prompted their application or interest. Any view is welcome :-)

hello guys..... anyone?
At moment it doesn't matter which school you attended. You won't be able to get a job unless you are a corporate lawyer from southern america and probably India or china...beside that, you probably should not depend on it. The LLM should be more than possibility to work in the US for you, or you would probably spend to much money no matter which school you will attend.
Beside that: Fordham is a good school, with very good teachers, a strong pool of applicants and a great location. The program has a good size and you are in classes with JDs, which I deem to be an asset. At least here at Columbia it is.
In Europe Fordham has a god reputation and I think you would not have a problem to get a Job. But as mentioned before: atm even the top four schools are ur warranty for a job. Not at all...

Hey guys.
Does any of the admitted candidates requested an extension of the deadline to accept the offer?
Has anyone been granted an extension?
Thanks in advance.

A little question about Fordham application through LSAC :
I am completing my application online by LSAC, and at the end we must sign, but we can't write at that place
How have you done ?
Hi Aky,
In case you haven't yet noticed yourself, I am pretty sure it does not matter if you can't sign. Same problem freaked me out when I applied to BC so I actually printed the application and sent it to them via mail. Yet they confirmed they received my application before the hard copy was received to I assume they don't care about the missing signature. Seems to be a standard mistake in the LSAC online application.
Cheers, Miss C.

Hi Miss !
Thank you for your answer ! I already sent my application online, through LSAC, without signing it
I forgot to edit my last post by adding that just before the signature, there are a few lines including :
"By signing this application, or by submitting it electronically,"
So we didn't need to sign it if we send it electronically ! We were woried for nothing lol ! ;)
At least, if someone else has the same question (even next year), he'll know what to do ! ;)
And finally they have requested today my LSAC report. I was worried because all the week they didn't. They must have been very busy
Hope I'll get a little admission :)
Good luck to you all !!!

It's not a matter of better, it's more a matter of what you like, what do you want to learn, work in, specialize in, etc.
Don't go with others' opinions on deciding something that important, and follow instead what you like ;)

Agreed. It really depends on a lot of things, such as location, specific courses offered by the uni which you want to take, tuition fees, reputation of the uni in your home country, living expenses, etc etc etc. It's a matter of your own choice, rather than other others', really.

I have the same question. They have given just three weeks to respond and I want to wait for Upenn and NYU! Has anyone received an extension for Fordham and/or GULC? Georgetown has not even mentioned the time limit to respond in their email... :(

Hey guys.
I got an extension to Fordham. I just asked for it by e.mail.
GULC's deadline i understand is April 1 (this info is in the admitted students website).
Good luck.

I waited up until the deadline, i.e. today, to apply in order not to require an extension/to see first whether I got in somewhere else.
I hope I didn't risk too much, since the admissions are done on a rolling basis (one of my friends already got in).

Awesome! Which schools' decisions are you still waiting for?
Posted Mar 01, 2011 16:10
Borderline: I am waiting for Upenn, BU and NYU. Plus now I have more time to decide between Boston College, Fordham and Georgetown,if I must...
