Hi,
To lessen the confusion a little bit and to get an oversight. Has any European applicant studying in Europe received an admission or rejection from Harvard Law School (HLS)?

Thank you for your post, nabela. Did you mean, he "received" his admission or "is going to receive" the admission? And do you know, whether this person asked Harvard for early admission on the grounds of scholarships or tuition waivers with confirmation deadlines? Thank you in advance for your post.

Same question to you, lucky. Do you know, whether this friend of your's asked for early confirmation of his admission or is in any special scholarship program or has indicated any deadlines by other universities. I pose these questions, because I really want to get an overview on the situation and I would like to know, whether Harvard has started sending regular admissions to their candidates. There has been so much confusion in this discussion board and I somehow have got the feeling that the decisions are given out at different times for different continents. Perhaps the responsibility for admission offers has been devided between different administrators or the decisions are made at different intervals.
Thank you all (and let's not forget the congratulations to your friend :)

The different intervals for admission offers for different continents meant Yale Law School (YLS).

Sorry for the confusion. ReceiveD of course. Just 20 minutes ago. Regular process. He didn't send any email to HLS admission. I think they started to send the regular admissions.

My friend did ask neither for an early response nor for financial aid.

I think it is already too late for us if we haven t reveived anything yet

Lucky, did you receive an offer from another university?
Posted Mar 17, 2008 16:48
Thanks guys, that sounds bad. However, fingers crossed. Nabela, did you apply to HLS as well?

I received an admission email today at 10.27 EST (an hour ago)...
No asking for early confirmation or special scholarship program or financial aid or anything else. Actually it is the first time I hear from them since December 07. I am from France.
good luck,
btw, I never got news from YLS...

My little sister also got accepted, today (morning time in Europe). Very happy, we were waiting the results on Friday (after having read the information on other threads of this board), but I guess an earlier gift is better than a later one!
Congratulations to all and good luck to those waiting (from HLS or others!)

Does this effectively mean that those who have not heard are rejected?
