Do Early Review applicants have to make a decision already in December or can they wait until March / April for example?

It depends what school you are referring to. If you are referring to Columbia, you are not required to respond until March/April. Thus, there is no need to decide before hearing back from Harvard/Yale/NYU etc.

Many thanks for the information. I applied to Columbia and scholarship decisions will be made in March. Since Columbia is very expensive, I have to wait for these scholarship decisions.

Do you know when will early decisions be submitted?
