UVA

Man, that's a tough one. Certainly where I'm from, Duke is considered pretty "big time", whereas no-one I know has heard of UVA. However, in the US legal world, it seems to me like UVA is maybe thought of more highly. But I don't really have anything to back that up with. If you plan to return home, consider how each university fares on the reputation front there.

That aside, in my opinion, UVA seems to be located in a really nice place. Probably better than Duke. But, as ever, all these things depend on your individual circumstances, what you're looking for, which institution offers courses and has experts that match your academic interests, your personal preferences etc.

Good luck with the decision. Either way, congratulations on getting into both. Can't really go wrong.
