Hi Miki, Here is some info about lawyrs.net: http://www.llm-guide.com/board/35189/
http://mashable.com/2007/09/18/lawyrs/
Basically, it's a social community like XING or facebook, but just for lawyers.

Hi guys!
Congrats on the offers from Duke! i've yet to hear any news, but keeping my fingers crossed as I really really wanna go there!
One of my professors here in UK went to Duke; he's told me fantastic stuff about this law school.
Good luck to others who are awaiting decisions as well!

It's a dream coming true!
I received yesterday the e-mail from DUKE informing my admission! It is not mentioned anything about the deadline for deposition...Can anyone guess what happened? In any case, I will send them a mail asking. For all applicants eager to know my folder was completed by mid-November (NO early review)!
I wish the best of luck to all of you!!

Hi guys,
I've been checking this board every day since my application, and it was really a killer... But,, I finally received an admission letter by e-mail last Thursday! As Duke was my first choice, I'm so happy about my admission.
Hope to see you all this Summer.

Thank you all!

I sent my application on Nov. 16 and received a receipt mail on Nov.22. I had heard from the alumni that normally they send the admission letter from end of January, so it was quite a surprise to receive an early decision.

Hi folks! I´ve mailed my application to Duke on Dec. 19 and received the receipt confirmation on 21. I was not expecting to receive any answer before mid-February, but I became anxious after reading your posts! Did you use LSAC´s service? I heard that they usually take some time to provide the university with the transcripts Regards!

Hi PBer,
Nope I didn't use the LSAC service. I think they've only just started emailing decisions for those who applied in mid-Dec. I know how you feel, I was very anxious as well! all the best to you, i'm sure the good news is well on its way.
Best wishes

Hi guys!
I got admitted too and planning to accept the offer.
I visited this school earlier last year and it was tremendous. Beautiful campus and perfect weather.
Also the business school was right next to the law school, so I'm looking forward for some joint curriculums that would be really practical.
By the way, I used the LSAC service.
