Any idea when we get to hear from berkeley, stanford and texas about their decisions. I sent these applications way back in November and haven't heard from them since then.

I got Berkeley's complete notice Jan 28:
its a positive sign - Cross my fingers...
Thank you for submitting an application to the Advanced Degrees Program at the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall). We write to inform you that it has been processed successfully and will be forwarded to the selection committee for review.
The selection committee will make admissions decisions in February and you should be notified of your status by April. Given the large number of applications we receive, we ask that you refrain from requesting status updates or otherwise contacting us unless the matter is urgent.
Thank you for entrusting us with your application. We will notify you of the decision on your application as soon as it becomes available.

Hey I've received a Scholarship as well !! But I would like to specialize in a subject rather than just do a general LLM...
Are you planning to specialize as well?

Yes,I'd like to more focus on IP and cyber law, but I didn't see Davis offers such specialized program. Or we shall just select preferred courses when program starts?

I am in a similar situation.
accepted at Duke and Davis, waiting for Berkeley with deadlines running in the other Schools...
Do you think that if I send an email to Berkeley explaining the situation they will seep up the process?

Hi ,the reason I was released at this point is, I sent in all materials in paper, and when i followed up with my application, berkeley replied that they actually did require that all applications be submitted online this year. However, they'd like to make an exception to accept my application, and to inform my status later. So this makes sense that at least they accept my application well...
I'll asked them about the update if not hearing anything till March 6 :)

@ BellaL : You can take a look at the list of courses they are offering, going through the Admitted Student site, then useful links and then course curriculum.... you can choose subjects from the courses offered there.. you have to complete atleast 20 credit in the L.L.M.
Are you also planning to give any Bar Exam?

Thanks Pratima! I'll look into the information. Yes so far I plan to CA bar as I want to practice in CA, but generally speaking CA bar is the most difficult for non-English native speakers.

Berkeley emailed in late Jan. that their decision will be made in Feb. and I'll be informed by April. But when I was asking about the result yesterday, I was told my application is still under review, and the decision will be released in April...
Does this indicate that I was out from the first round consideration?

I'm in a similar situation, UC Berkeley, or Stanford is nearer to where I live and I'll be able to stay at home and do the LLM course then, so I've applied to both but apparently they are not coming out with results till April.
I've to also convey my decision to UC Davis ...
Is it possible to say 'yes' to UC Davis and then later remove your admission and then take admission in UC Berkeley or Stanford if you get an admits from these Universities?
I sent e-mail to Davis. They gave me the extend of my decision-making .
That option is better. So my advice - to send a request to Davis.
Besides, on the Stanford side I found next info:
If you are offered admission, Stanford reserves the right to withdraw that offer of admission if you reserve a place in our entering class and make an enrollment commitment or place a deposit at another law school.
Good luck to all in this waiting process

I want to ask for extension from Davis as Berkeley is not able to release result until April. You may want to try both and see which works.

I think that Berkley as Stanford woul not expedite their process, because the know that UC davis is by far not that well known and therefore not that attractive...Ask UC Davis...
