Hi,
Which are the best schools/programs that relate to these studies and give a good professional perspective in NGO etc...?
I'm a french law graduate student and doing an internship in a big law firm in Paris (corporate department) and as interesting as it is, I'm desperate to find a way to relate corporate law (which I like) to sth stimulating and for which I have a long interest.
For now, I've seen that Georgetown has an interesting LLM with a certificate in HR. I guess I should also mention I have a rather strong academic background...
Thanks for any help!

Thank you all for your answers :)
I'm looking for an LL.M where I could study these subjects :
International Anti-Corruption Conventions (UN, OECD, OAS) and Foreign Laws (FCPA, UK Bribary Act, etc).
Anti-Money Laundering
Regulation of Mulinational Enterprises (OECD Guidelines, ISO 26000, Global Compact)
Corporate Social Responsibility
International Trade
Business and human rights
I'm specialized in corporate law and took many courses in international law (public international law, Human rights, international criminal law etc...).
What kind of jobs do you think relate to the areas suggested above? I was thinking international organisations etc.
Thanks to all!

hi Mikado
I share your interest and I believe CLS has the most complete academic offer for such matter. Hope to make it too. My second best is Penn, they've also got ngo and related courses.
ps: I just found this post.. would have answered before.

For corporate social responsibility, I think GWU and GT should be at the top of your list. Also, Northwestern offers a brand-new course on CSR, taught by Prof. Scheffer, who is a superstar professor in international law...

:) yes! Northwestern too, I couldn't make it to the deadline though :(

perhaps you should contact Prof. Arimond, and see whether they would accept to consider a late application...you never know...

Thanks for your responses guys.
I'm going to Columbia next year and the curriculum is quite impressive... I couldn't ask for more.
But I'm having a hard time deciding if I should specialize in the HR/Business law field... Employment wise. I just don't see many perspectives in this field apart from working at the Legal Affairs at the UN, or eventually other international organisations/NGO's... In other words, highly competitive positions!
Any insight would be great... What is the market like for corporate/transactional lawyers with a further specialization in HR/United Nations/NGO's? I guess it's quite bad but is it that bad that I should just let go this idea for now?
Thanks.
