I would go for Ivy League and pick Cornell. Plus, its campus is fabulous !
It's just a shame it's not closer from NY city. But I'm not american so I'll leave it to the pros...

Hmmm... tough choice. Funnily enough earlier today I was daydreaming of a future situation in which I had to decide between Cornell and UVa... (Ah, the minds of first year law students.) And I still can't choose, as both are equally good universities. Although personal factors come into play (one of my family attended Virginia, it is close to my American relatives, etc.), if I was forced to pick one I would opt for Cornell - reputation, Ivy League status, small school, location and setting, closer to NYC, and so forth.
Regards,
OJ.

You can't really go wrong with either. Unfortunately, both UVA and Cornell are quite removed from major US cities, though, their campuses are great. I would pick UVA, but I like the sun.

hi,
Both are excellent so if you want a suggestion, you should better take the university which is more known in your country except if you plan to work in the US your entire life.
in my country (france), they are not so many to know how great virginia is.
good luck in your choice.
