OMG... I just received the offer letter. The estimated figure for tuition fee alone is 53,xxx USD. Can you believe that?!?!? How can one afford such a crazy amount? If I remember correctly, last year's tuition was about 46,000, which was already really high. What about other schools??
Cornell tuition!!!

The private schools, in particular the good ones, always will cost you at least around 48 grant plus a large amount of expenses for living etc. Because I was aware of this, I kind of secured my funding a long time ago...it sucks if you cannot accept an offer just because it's to expensive...I know how hard it is, because a friend of mine had to turn down offers from great schools...

I was acutally expecting high tuition fees for these kinds of schools. But look at this, Cornell's tuition jumping from 46000 to 53xxx isn't it too outrageous???

Not if you look how bad the exchange rates are for USD at the moment...wasn't there an information on the website? Most Unis state how much it's gonna be...

Hi,
No I meant funding in general - from other scholarships. I doubt I will get anything from Cornell - I did'n even apply for anything!
