Cornell Law School for International Law

Hey everyone, I am really in need of some help to make a decision. How do you think Cornell Law is for an LLM in international law? How does Cornell compare to Penn Law in terms of reputation? Can't make a decision, would love to hear your thoughts thank you!

Hi there,

There is no one answer for this question. It depends on you and, only you, who can find out the best choice fit for you. Having said that, I'll be straightforward with you. If I were in your shoes, I will definitely pick UPenn Law over Cornell. UPenn is more prestigious, and they have an option for LL.M. candidates only, if you're interested, to earn a certificate from Wharton which is a great idea.

That doesn't mean you should ignore Cornell. Cornell is a great school, but this is how I see it.

Wish you the best.

Thank you very much for the answer! I unfortunately dont qualify for the Wharton certificate as I am a recent LLB graduate, but I heard it is a great program. Do you think Penn Law is worth paying $15k more than Cornell? Everyone is telling me to choose Penn Law, but I just cant know if it is worth paying more. Looking forward to your answer, thank you again!
