lol Santa, I got into UVA and Cornell too but am choosing Cornell over UVA because I feel the whole Ivy league thing might count for something. Also, I wish to pratice in NY rather than Virginia.

I guess after some Thai admitted students give up their offers, the school will consider other Thai applicants again, but the question is when we will know the result.

Which law school are you going to apply now?? Most of prestigious law schools in the U.S. already met their deadlines now. However, good luck to you no matter where you will apply.

I sent my documents to Northwestern for enrolling. This means soon there will be another spot avaliable at Cornell. Best of luck to you all!

What is the deal with Cornell? I know many have received their offers but many have not heard anything at all.

Can someone explain their admission process? Can we assume those who have heard nothing are on a silent wait list? Or they are genuinely still reviewing applications and sending offers out on a rolling basis? If so, how would they be ab le to control how many offers they make?

all i can say is that i have til April 1st to tell cornell whether i want to attend or not..
i don't know about other applicants, as cornell doesnt seem to release decisions at the same time, but i would assume that at least quite a few of the admitted ones have until April 1.
maybe you are on some "unofficial" waitlist and you'll get answers after april 1..

My status finally changed to decision... let's wait for the mail now and hope for the best.... first the date was changed from 12/10/2008 to 03/10/2009 and the status remained "complete", and now the date remained the same and the status changed to "decision".
