Hi there! I have contacted a Weston Ivy consultan and was really enthusiastic about their services at the beggining but then I started doubting because I never really heard about them and don´t know if this is a real company. Where have you heard about them? Are they trustful? I´m asking because if I hire their services I should pay through the internet since I am in Argentina and I have no means of verifying the existance of this company. Help please!

Hi,
I had some friends check them out for me... through the phone at least... they seemed to be of the opinion that they were genuine enough..... can't obviously guarantee it... so hope this helps you in your choice.

Thanks! I will keep you posted and let you know if I finally decide to hire them and if they are useful if you are also considering this option. Are you considering any other consultancy service?? Good luck! Thanks again!

Without looking into it any furthers, this practice appears dubious and absolutely unnescessary. Anyone interested in studying in the US and obtaining a LL.M. degree should be ambitious enough to check and sort out law schools onseself. In the end, this company doesn't know anything about you and you'll have to provide them with every bit of information needed. This information on your life and your credentials is exactly what you need to prepare the applications, especially personal statements etc. Thus, one might as well just do it alone...without spending thousands of dollars. Heck, I'll do your application for half the price... ;-)
Seriously, use LSAC LLM CAS if you apply to several law schools. This already makes it a lot easier. Writing the personal statements is certainly not the most fun activity but is doable - if needed with some help from someone with firm English skills - and helps reflect your interests, strengths and thus eases the trouble of selecting the right program.

Sure it is a lot different than anything most people have ever done or had to do, but thousands of applicants have made it through the application procedures of "extremely difficult programs" on their own. ;-) A successfull application is a sign of a strong will and ambition to achieve the goals one sets for himself/herself.
