Thanks for the updates and congratulations to all those who got it.
Might you guys know if the acceptance emails are all sent at the same time? For example all those who got acceptance/rejection emails got the information at 11:00am EST?

Hahaha! I too legit feel that. BTW, with such great details of their on-campus happenings, do you think we should read into those emails? Are they a hint of some kind? Does anyone know of anybody who got rejected but used to or still receives those emails?

I think they have a mailing list / database of everyone who's ever applied to Columbia and they keep sending those newsletters to everyone. It's something similar to what most of our law firms do with monthly updates - send them out to every email contact on our databases. I wouldn't read into it.

Guys, does anyone know whether the Committee sends out decisions on weekends? Has anyone here received an offer on a Saturday or a Sunday?

Hi Abhishek! I don't know for sure if they work on weekends, but I don't think so (and I hope they don't and they are resting with their families!)
As I posted above, Dean Polo stated a couple days ago that the admission committee is going to keep on reviewing applications and they're going to keep on accepting people through the next 4-5 weeks. Anyway, if someone's got accepted in another program and haven't heard about CLS yet, they can write to CLS up to one week before de deadline of the first program that that person was accepted to, informing this situation, and they'll rush to give you an answer.
I know anxiety is hard to handle, but hang in there! Eventually you'll get a decision (I hope a good one, but if they reject you, you'll know that too). Don't start losing your hair over stress right there :)
All the best for you!

Thanks for the information. Actually, waiting becomes particularly difficult when so many others have received their decisions. I just hope that in the next 4-5 weeks the wait will be over and won’t go beyond the first week of April. Anyway thanks for your kind words. The times are really tough I’d say!

Columbia would have sent you an email with a link for an online application status checker after they received your application. It'll have a login ID and password in the email for you to access it. Check that.

To all the admitted students:
Could you guys please tell me by when do you have to respond to the admission offer? What is the deadline?

No. Nothing to be worried about. Mine is also not ticked. I didn't do TOEFL because I am a native English speaker and I studied my undergrad in English. I think if you didn't do the TOEFL there is no need to have it ticked. Provided your application is complete, then you are fine!

Congratulations. At what time did you receive the acceptance email? (You can indicate your time zone if you don't mind)
Thanks a lot for your wishes.
